The holidays are (almost) upon us!

We know it is not always easy to buy gifts in a corporate setting — but have no fear, your days of struggling to find the perfect gift for your office are gone! We have compiled a little list of corporate gifting tips that will help you get through the holidays with ease and confidence:

Gift this:

Books. They provide knowledge and wisdom, and can be used for years.

Vacation days. Give employees the gift of time. Extra time off is always appreciated.

Handwritten note. Go the extra mile and include a personalized letter with your gift.

Journals. Provide your employees and clients with customized journals that they can use on a daily basis.

Donation. Give to your recipient's favorite non-profit organization.

Not That:

Gag gifts. Unless you're having a White Elephant party, say "no" to gag gifts.

Gift cards. Though they're convenient, they're also impersonal.

Company "swag." Put more effort into your gift and don't just give out items that you distribute at trade shows.

Junk food. Try to steer clear of gifting food, especially unhealthy snacks. Instead, give something that has more long-term value.

• Nothing. Don't forget to give a gift. Any gift is better than none!
