Do I need a wholesale account or a reseller certificate?
No. Wholesale tiers are open to any organization. Each book page shows its volume pricing, and the cart applies it automatically. For mixed lists or very large orders, request a quote.
What is the minimum order for wholesale pricing?
Volume pricing starts at 25 copies of a title on most books, at 20 on some and lower on a few. The minimum is per title. You can buy fewer copies at the listed price.
How much is the wholesale discount?
It depends on the title and the quantity. Across our 100 best-selling titles in October 2026, the typical discount was 40% off list at 25 copies and 51% at 1,000 copies. For example, Extreme Ownership lists at $31.00 and costs $18.91 a copy at 100 copies and $15.19 at 1,000.
Can you deliver by a specific date?
Tell us the date and we plan the shipping to it. Most orders over $95 ship free by ground and arrive in an estimated 7–10 business days, so order at least 10 business days before you need the books. Expedited (est. 4–5 business days) and express (est. 3–4 business days) shipping are available on most titles.
Do you accept purchase orders and tax-exempt orders?
Yes. We accept purchase orders from approved businesses, schools and government agencies, with Net 30 from the invoice date for approved accounts, and we send formal PDF quotes for approval. Tax-exempt orders need a valid state-issued exemption certificate for the ship-to state. Our W-9 is on the purchase orders page.
Is it cheaper than Amazon?
Compare the delivered total for your full quantity: our tiers apply to every copy, and most orders over $95 ship free. If you find a lower delivered price for the same new edition and quantity, our price match explains how we handle it.
Can I buy wholesale books to resell?
Tell us on your quote that the books are for resale. A specialist will confirm what is possible for those titles, since some publishers set their own terms for resale.
Can wholesale orders be returned?
Publishers sell bulk copies to BookPal on a non-returnable basis, so bulk orders can't be returned. Misprinted or damaged copies and quantity errors are replaced at no cost if you report them within 5 business days of delivery. See the Brand New Guarantee.
Do you offer eBooks or audiobooks?
For a few titles, yes — StrengthsFinder 2.0, for example — and our specialists can tell you which ones. But we're selective, on purpose, because we'd rather your budget go somewhere it works:
You pay for every code, not every reader. Bulk eBook and audio codes are billed when they're issued, and in our experience most are never opened — or are set aside after the first few pages.
Digital is harder on your people than it looks. Recipients have to redeem codes, create accounts, and manage yet another app and library on their personal devices. What was meant as a gift becomes a chore.
