Overview
Bats in the crawl space, a curious cat, and a dead exterminator… Agnes Hale has another mystery on her hands.
I thought the bats were going to be my biggest problem. I was wrong.
Rover and I are settling into our new lives in Greymoure Glen quite nicely after last month’s unfortunate incident. Or we were, until bats moved into the crawl space over our cottage.
As I’m not supposed to use magic unless absolutely necessary, I did what anyone would do and called an exterminator.
Finding him dead in my backyard after a book club meeting was not in my plans.
Rover and I relocate to the local hotel while the police investigate, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still interested in what happened to Craig Furman. There’s nothing wrong with making a few discreet inquiries as we go about our lives.
The more I learn, the clearer it becomes that Craig’s business dealings left him with no shortage of enemies. A visiting stranger complicates matters, and Rover remains far more interested in snacks than subtlety.
Which means Rover and I are going to start asking questions again.
Bats and Biographies is the second book in the Agnes Hale Book Club Cozies series, perfect for readers who love Lucy Connelly, Leena Clover, and paranormal cozy mysteries set in small towns.
