The Intruder: A Psychological Thriller [9798347016419]

Overview

Having taken out those who’ve wronged her, a disgraced influencer—newly disguised—returns to where it all started as she seeks the ultimate revenge.

Shae Halston is a seasoned pro at playing pretend, and this time, she’s taking on her most daring role yet: that of her former therapist’s caretaker. Being up close and personal with her patient’s pain and scars means she can use them any way she wants to. And caring for Kelly isn’t just a convenient means to an end; Kelly’s the one who destroyed Shae’s life.

The last few years have been tumultuous for Shae as she watched her glamorous life as an influencer blow up in her face. But she learned a few valuable lessons along the way, namely that revenge is truly the only way to heal. However, as secrets are unraveled and long-buried memories begin to surface, she begins to lose her grip on reality.

Kelly knows more than she’s letting on, and Shae’s carefully constructed vengeance begins to spiral into something much more dangerous. Soon, the line between victim and villain begins to blur. How far will Shae go to punish the woman who left her? And what happens when the monster you think you’re after . . . is you?
