From BookPal President, Tony DiCostanzo: Continued Support for Learning and Growth
We believe now, more than ever, that books have the unique ability to inspire, encourage, and connect people.
We hope you are staying well during this time of uncertainty. Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted by COVID-19. At BookPal we are continuing to support our mission to inspire, encourage and connect people through the transformative power of books.
As we navigate the coming weeks and months, it is our goal to prioritize the health and safety of our community and partners while still providing top-tier customer service. Here is what this means for you:
Maintained hours of operation.
While most of our team is working remotely, we are maintaining our hours of operation of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST. This is to provide our clients with the support they need while also helping to keep our employees safe. Our usual communication channels are still open to you: Call us at (866) 522-6657, email support@book-pal.com, or use our website chat feature for any questions.
Direct and individual shipping.
With so many of our clients having to modify their normal work and school schedules and the ways they operate, we are happy to provide a range of flexible shipping options to navigate these changes. In addition to our normal distribution process of shipping directly to your organization, we can also ship to UPS Access Points for you to pick up your order when it is convenient, or even ship books to your residence. In addition, we can ship individual copies to recipients' homes. Please contact us to discuss any shipping concerns you may have, and we would be happy to find a solution.
Delayed order fulfillment.
Given that so many events are postponed and schools are temporarily closing, we are happy to process your book orders and delay shipment. Whether you need to prepare for the next school year or set a new date for your event, we can store your books until you are ready to receive them, whether that is with a partial shipment or the full order.
Title recommendations, digital connections, and more.
We understand that, with safety as a top priority, your book-buying behavior may be altered. However, we want to stay in touch with you as much as possible and remind you of our beyond-the-book services. From custom quotes and product recommendations to online webinars and virtual book signings, our team is eager to support your bookish needs.
