Introducing The BookPal Book Club

Inspired by the likes of Mark Zuckerburg, Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel, BookPal is launching its very own book club! A company book club is a great way to engage employees and inspire creative thinking. Here at BookPal, participation is optional, but encouraged. Each month, BookPal team members will collectively decide on a title to read and discuss. The first book we will be tackling is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Recognized as a modern classic, The Alchemist has sold more than two million copies around the world. Charming and well-written, Coelho's modern masterpiece tells the fable of Santiago, a traveling Andalusian shepherd boy. Magic lies at the very heart of the story: Santiago yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure as extravagant as any ever found. His journey teaches us, as only a few stories can, about the wisdom of listening to our hearts and following our dreams. The Alchemist's simplistic language, classical genre and powerful themes make the book perfect for those reading at a high school level and above.
