Hotels and convention centers have their own rules for receiving freight. Have these ready, or just tell us the venue and we'll work through them with you.

How far ahead should we order books for an event?
For a hotel or venue, order at least 14 business days before the event: 10 business days to deliver, plus at least 4 for the venue to receive. Otherwise, order at least 10 business days before you need the books in hand; earlier is better. Free shipping works great: most orders arrive within an estimated 7–10 business days. Need it sooner? Expedited and express options are available for many titles.
Can you ship to a hotel or conference venue?
Yes. Give us the venue's receiving contact, the delivery address and any dock rules, and we can label every box with your event name and date. We've handled more than 230 hotel and venue deliveries since 2023.
What if the venue won't accept deliveries before a certain date?
Tell us the first day the venue can receive. We can schedule delivery for a later date so the books arrive inside the venue's window, not before it.
Can you split books between several venues or tour stops?
Yes. One order can ship to several venues, cities or rooms, each with its own quantity and date.
Can you deliver on pallets?
Yes. Larger orders can ship on pallets. Tell us whether the venue has a loading dock or needs a liftgate truck, and whether inside delivery is required.
What happens if a title is reprinting or not yet published?
We check every title before you order. If a book is reprinting, we tell you the expected date and the options. For pre-publication books, we plan shipping around the release date.
Can attendees get signed copies?
Often. Signed bookplates when the author offers them: the author signs the bookplates and we apply one to each copy before it ships. Authors planning their own events can start at author services.
