Prayer has to do with everything human. Prayer fully encompasses the person, mind, body, and soul. The whole person is needed to pray, and prayer affects the entire person with its kind results. As all human nature enters into prayer, also everything belonging to that person is recipient of prayer. The human being as a whole receives benefits from prayer. The whole person must be delivered to God through prayer. The greatest results in prayer come from those who surrender themselves, all about themselves, everything they have, to God. This is the secret of full consecrations, and it is a condition to have successful prayers, and the kind of prayers that bring the greatest fruits.

People from times gone by who prayed, who achieved great things, who moved God to answer, were those who were completely devoted to God in their prayer. God wants, and must have, everything there is within the person while answering their prayers. He must have full-hearted people through whom He can work his purpose and plans concerning people. God must have people wholly. Double-minded people are not needed. Wavering people cannot be used.
