Need them by a date? Put it on your order or quote and we'll confirm the timeline before you pay. Custom-printed journals can't be returned or exchanged unless there's a production error, which is why every order gets a proof first.
The die fee, in plain words
Order 100 and the logo setup is free.
To deboss or foil-stamp your logo, Castelli makes a metal die from your artwork. The die is made once per logo design and kept on file for reorders.
New logo, 25 to 99 journals
A one-time $75 die fee, added automatically when you order online. It covers the die for that design, whatever colors you choose.
100 or more journals
The die is free. The same logo on two models counts together, so 60 Appeel Medio and 40 Medium Tucson with one logo make 100.
Reorders and blank journals
Reordering a logo we already have a die for costs nothing extra; tell us the earlier order number. Blank journals and names alone never need a die.
A second logo location, oversized artwork and full-color printing are quoted per order.

What is the minimum order for branded journals?
25 journals per model. The price per journal drops at 100, 250, 500 and 1,000, and at 100 or more the logo die is free.
Which branded journal is best for a client gift?
The Ivory Hybrid (240 ivory pages, lays flat) and the large Appeel Grande feel the most substantial, and a name in gold foil makes either one personal. For a pen-ready gift, choose the Tucson journal with pen and loop.
Which journal is best for employees and onboarding?
The Appeel Medio is our most ordered journal: hardcover, 192 pages, with an elastic closure and a back pocket for the welcome letter. The Medium Tucson costs less and comes in 14 colors to match your brand.
Can you ship journals to several offices?
Yes. Tell us the addresses and quantities on your quote and we'll split the shipment, or send everything to one place for your team to hand out.
Can we pay by purchase order?
Yes. Purchase orders and tax-exempt orders are welcome. Ask for a formal quote and send your PO against it.
Can we pair journals with a book?
Yes. BookPal sells books in bulk too, so one quote can cover a book and a matching branded journal for a leadership program, onboarding kit or event.
How far ahead should we order for the holidays?
Allow about three weeks from order to delivery for logo journals and about four with names: the proof, about 5 business days of production (10–15 with names) and ground shipping. The earlier you share your date, the more colors and models stay open.
Can we return branded journals?
Journals printed with your logo or names can't be returned or exchanged unless there's a production error. That's why nothing prints until you approve a proof.
