About the book
Loretta
Born with intellectual disabilities and partial blindness, Loretta Claiborne was never expected to walk, let alone run. She defied every expectation, traveling far beyond the boundaries of the housing projects of York, Pennsylvania, to become a world-class marathoner, global advocate, and inspirational leader.
Across 26.2 chapters, her unstoppable spirit emerges through highs and lows, knit together by her lifelong fight for inclusion and dignity. Her lessons offer wisdom for every generation, revealing the heart of a champion whose legacy is measured not in the miles run, but in the minds she has opened along the way.
