Mutant Labs is your typical science lab. They do work on rockets, gene splicing, finding cures, and you know...interdimensional energy type stuff.
The company is working on their biggest breakthrough yet: a renewable energy device strong enough to power a city block, small enough to fit in the palm of your paw — about the size of a ball of yarn — that draws power from alternate planes of existence. It's complicated, but it works. Trust us. They're calling it: The Cluster.
But hubris is always a problem. The higher-ups want The Cluster ready "yesterday," forcing project leader Flux and his team of idiot geniuses to cut corners. Shortcuts are dangerous when you're messing with interdimensional energy. Realities start overlapping, and welcome to the Mutantverse.
