About the book
The Blinder
Only one can win.
In the black of the arctic winter, three desperate competitors risk their lives in the Blinder, a brutal cross-country race with life-changing prize money—and a high mortality rate.
Nadya Rike’s village is facing the extinction of the Hiiden Hirvi, magical creatures her people have herded for generations. Nadya’s only hope of preserving her village’s way of life is to win the money to purchase the region’s last male Hiiden Hirvi.
Dominic Falk is the favorite to win the Blinder, and if he wants to fund the only surgery that can save his leg, he has to win.
Finn Volkov is newly disinherited, and he’s also being haunted. Or he’s going insane. Either way, he has a race to run. A race to win.
When catastrophe throws the three of them together and their secrets come to light, they must decide which is more important: winning or surviving. If they choose wrong, they’ll lose the chance to do either.
