Immunotherapy is the most hopeful strategy to date for the treat­ ment of tumors resistant to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or hor­ mone therapy. It includes the use of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, ex vivo activated memory T lymphocytes, and cell-based vaccines.
