Overview
In this heart-pounding follow up to the dystopian novel Stung, a group of teens seek to "cure" a world plagued by monsters and greed.
Jacqui still remembers what it was like before the honeybee virus and its "cure" destroyed her world. Before children turned into beasts and power-hungry men became raiders. Before she had to disguise herself as a boy. And before her brother Dean left and never came back.
After “Jack” runs into her old neighbors Fiona and Jonah, she joins their group, hoping they can help her find Dean as they search for their own loved ones. But Jacqui soon discovers that they've kept a dangerous secret from her: they have the cure.
As Jacqui and her friends try to reunite their families, they must also preserve the cure, evade threatening raiders, and fight for the chance to rebuild their shattered world.
