The Temple, Its Ministry and Service

The Temple by Alfred Edersheim, it is a detailed research work that studies The Temple of Jerusalem, a key element in understanding both the Old and New Testament. The author takes us nineteen centuries in the past; to show us how Jerusalem was then, when our Lord passed through its streets, and through the sanctuary, when he taught through its porches and courts. It describes not only the appearance and structure of the Temple, but also their ordinances and worshipers, the ministry of priesthood, and their rituals. The author also seeks to show us the religious life of the period in which Jesus lived on earth, the circumstances under which he taught, and the religious rites with which he was surrounded, and whose meaning, in its truest sense, he came to fulfill. Jehovah, the God of Israel, is also the God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In this book you will find:

• Ministry and functions of the Temple in the times of Christ.
• The way Jesus and his work is related to the Temple.
• Nature and functions of Judaism.
• The Temple's symbolism.
