Flash Gordon Adventures returns with a brand new story by Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Mike Kunkel (Herobear and the Kid) where Flash Gordon and friends have to deal with mischievous doppelgangers, or Dopplers—who are almost identical versions of Flash, Dale, and Dr. Zarkov.Flash and his friends are pulled from their relaxing day-off picnic when they’re blamed for chaos erupting in the Lion Kingdom, where the citizens are covered in glitter and bubbles.

The gang splits up to chase the Dopplers across various lands—Arboria, Mountainia, Tropica, and Frigia—teaming up with friends like Barin, Rocky, Shark, and King Vultan. Ultimately leading to a final showdown with the Dopplers at Ming’s castle!
