About the book
Kick Flip
Elliot Powell is a teenager who feels that they are neither a boy nor a girl. At school, they’re bullied for not being like the other girls, and in the skatepark, they’re seen as one of the boys. As Elliot navigates their gender expression, they gradually learn to find themself through their friendships at home and at the skatepark.
Here is the first book in a gorgeously illustrated teen graphic novel series that weaves a heartfelt LGBTQ+ coming of age story with the raw excitement of skateboarding--perfect for fans of Heartstopper.
