Thirteen-year-old Tunny Briggs hates his new school. Rohr Middle School is boring and filled with normies who just don't "get" Tunny. Sure, he has lime green hair and is OBSESSED with horror movies and Monster Mania comics, but at least those villains never make fun of Tunny the way his classmates do.
A fight lands Tunny in detention alongside three of his classmates—Seamus Tilda, Jasmyn Gonzalez, and Noa Barlow. Together, the group busts out of the joint and breaks into a janitor’s closet, where they find glowing hall passes inscribed with their names.
With just one touch, the kids are instantly transported to school that looks just like theirs . . . but is filled with literal MONSTERS.
