About the book
Storm Hunter
Meteorologist Mark Robinson has spent over a decade at The Weather Network reporting from the front lines of the world’s most extreme weather events. From fires to hurricanes to tornadoes, Mark has seen it all and sees how it’s all been changing.
Equal parts travel memoir and popular science book, Storm Hunter delves expertly into famous meteorological events like the fires at Fort McMurray, the El Reno Tornado, and Hurricane Katrina — all witnessed firsthand by Mark.
But at the heart of these events is the most frightening phenomenon of them all — climate change. With accessible meteorology and mind-blowing personal accounts from the heart of the action, Storm Hunters is a shocking demonstration of how our world is becoming more unpredictable and more dangerous, one that also shows us how to keep calm and weather the storm.
