Overview
A creative, biblical guide to help you make wiser, better decisions.
We live in a world of overwhelming choices.
The average adult makes up to 35,000 decisions on a typical day. That’s around 1.6 decisions every second we’re awake, a massive increase from the number of decisions that previous generations made. Decision fatigue is real.
From the mundane to the monumental, we’re making decisions about consumer goods, our families, relationships, time management, technology, ethics, politics, and much more. Yet do we know how or why we make our decisions? Christians know that decisions, especially those with a moral component, should be made according to God’s will, but many of us have little if any idea about how to determine God’s will in specific situations. We go through the day without a clear decision-making plan, unaware that we’re being led by unprocessed feelings, urgent interruptions, and predatory algorithms.
In The Priority Wheel, pastor and ministry leader Karl Vaters shares a biblical decision-making framework that has guided him for decades. Karl shows us how godly values, biblical virtues, personal goals, and practical tools work together to create a biblically sound, relationally strong, and joyous life. Readers are invited to know, understand, and apply biblical wisdom, providing a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Once we know what to prioritize, decision-making feels less fleeting and more certain, less confusing and more empowering, less about opinions and more about principles.
You, and everyone who is affected by your decisions, will be eternally grateful for the timeless wisdom of The Priority Wheel.
