Trekchö Texts: Flight of the Garuda, Chetsun Nyingtik, Three Words & Many More

A collection of vital, pith instructions of Trekchö for serious students of the path of the Great Perfection. It is through these instruction manuals that one is genuinely able to progress in practice. Here are hidden treasure texts as well as clarifying explanatory material to enhance and expand our experience.

For a practitioner in this dark age, the most effective teaching is not a lengthy scholarly explanation but a direct guidance manual: oral instructions written down, clear and simple. Trekchö, the main view of all Eight Practice Lineages, is the path by which the masters of the past attained enlightenment. Kept secret for centuries, these instructions are now essential to preserve by making them available in this current collection, Trekchö Texts.

Setting forth these pithy guidance manuals in writing would be disastrous, yet their disappearance would be disastrous too. — Khenpo Ngakchung

Trekchö Texts gathers the most relevant and pithy instructions of Dzogchen, including The Flight of the Garuda, the Chetsün Nyingtik root text, Three Words Striking the Vital Point, and works by Padmasambhava, Longchenpa, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, Jamgön Kongtrul, Paltrul Rinpoche, Mipham Rinpoche, and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche among others. The greatest scholars of their time were also its greatest practitioners, and they wrote practical advice so simple and direct that we can apply it without fear of mistakes. Still, these condensed points must be unpacked by a realized teacher; the texts support that guidance, they never replace it.

For practitioners on the path of Dzogchen, it is vital to personally receive oral instructions from a realized teacher. The excitement of being able to train based on that advice is enhanced by the stimulation and support that guidance manuals provide. All the selections presented in Trekchö Texts, offer incredible teachings that are inspiring and vital.

This amazing collection includes an introduction by Marcia Dechen Wangmo.

Where in other teachings is the result pointed out to be seen directly within your own experience? Only in Dzogchen, the pinnacle of all vehicles. — Kyabje Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche
