Unbowed is a direct look and exploration at Maathai's life and accomplishments. While she was instrumental in the green belt movement and pushing sustainability to the forefront of conversations in Kenya, she was also a feminist. Maathai's book is an easy read, engaging, and eye opening. I strongly recommend this book.
