About the book
Wait for Summer
Last August, Amelia chose to see where things could go with Myles, her crush who became her coworker then her boyfriend all in the span of one summer. Soon after, the town’s newcomer Gregory left their seaside town for the school year, but Amelia has kept in touch with him through letters.
Now it’s June and Gregory is back. Amelia tries to stay all-in on Myles, who’s preparing to leave for college, but she can’t stop wondering about the “what if” of her and Gregory—until she learns he’s dating his best friend from home. And, as if everything weren’t complicated enough, Amelia’s ex-friend Kat—who Amelia hasn’t spoken to since August—is also mysteriously back for the summer, and Amelia has no idea how things will be between them when they run into each other, as they’re bound to do in their small town.
If the previous summer was one of surprises, Amelia has no idea what to expect from this summer. But with each day being as variable as the tides, one fact remains the same: summer can change everything.
