Another Fine Edition

From punk-rock icon and Screeching Weasel frontman Ben Weasel comes a fast, darkly comic mystery about a self-absorbed rock musician, a stolen wedding ring, a decades-old robbery, and a bizarre conspiracy involving a UFO cult and apparent shapeshifters in Wisconsin’s Northwoods.

Tommy Swank is a rock musician, a self-proclaimed ladies’ man, and a world-class screwup. He has also just broken into his brother’s Wisconsin lake house to reclaim a wedding ring he believes is rightfully his. It should be an easy job.

Instead, Tommy finds himself caught in a bizarre conspiracy involving the proceeds of a decades-old robbery, a mysterious UFO cult, apparent shapeshifters, and several competing factions converging on the woods surrounding Ermine Lake. Soon his brother James is in danger, Tommy is being hunted, and the little gold ring he came looking for may be connected to something much bigger and stranger than he imagined.

Forced to navigate a world populated by zealots, criminals, eccentric conspirators, and people who may not be what they seem, Tommy has only his quick wit, questionable instincts, and considerable talent for getting himself into trouble.

Fast, funny, and gloriously offbeat, Another Fine Edition is a darkly comic mystery packed with rock-and-roll swagger, family resentment, supernatural intrigue, and nonstop complications. As Tommy attempts to unravel what is happening at Ermine Lake, he may be forced to confront the one mystery he has spent his life avoiding: himself.
