Chupacabra: Tales of Blood & Ink — A Horror Graphic Novel (Chupacabra #1) [9781962594011]

Overview

A horror graphic novel where Latin American folklore meets small-town American conspiracy.

Hi, it's me, Alessandra — you can call me Sanny though. Don't think that's because we're close or anything. I just don't want to hear you butcher the rolling R in my name.

I'm a high school senior in East Valley, and I'm trying to uncover the truth about the strange occurrences happening in my town. Coincidences that aren't coincidences. People in power who know more than they're saying. And something ancient, something with blood on its teeth, that everyone pretends doesn't exist.

You ever wonder why it feels like there's stuff that happens that reality can't explain? Yeah. Me too.

And now I know the sausage is made — how these people stay in power, what the operation entails, and most interestingly of all, why the hell does the Chupacabra legend keep showing up where it shouldn't?

Perfect for fans of: Stranger Things, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Paper Girls, and anyone who thinks folklore is just stories old people tell.
