Hawke's Abyss (AJ Bailey Adventure #19) [9781036716417]

Overview

Priceless heirlooms. A missing diver. A reckoning in the deep.

In 1979, two astronauts-in-training take off from Houston for a week of sun and fun in Grand Cayman, visiting one man’s brother who runs a dive boat. But they quickly learn paradise is fraught with tension after the famed Santa Aurelia Collection of jewellery vanishes from an island event. Escaping the collection’s suspicious owner, the three men head out for an ambitious wall dive… but only two return.

Decades later, an innovative historical investigator with family ties to the story hires AJ Bailey and Reg Moore to uncover what really happened to the Santa Aurelia Collection. In a race against a rival treasure seeker and armed with little more than a faded photo, old newspaper clippings, and time-worn rumours, they soon discover the answers lie in Hawke’s Abyss… where the truth may be far darker than the depths they dare to dive.

This AJ Bailey dual-timeline adventure mystery can be enjoyed in series order, or as a stand-alone book.
