Spy Trade: A Spycatcher Novella (Spycatcher Novels)

To stop an American hostage from being executed on camera, an off-book operative must hunt down the deadly secret behind a prisoner trade.

When a mission goes awry in Syria, senior CIA officer Bob Oakland is captured by aspiring members of ISIS, who demand the release of one of their own, Arzam Saud, in U.S. captivity.

Chained in a hidden room with a knife held to his throat, the veteran operative faces captors who broadcast his interrogation online. With military search units drawing a complete blank across the desert, the countdown to a televised execution leaves the White House running out of time.

When their hands are tied by Washington's refusal to negotiate, the CIA turns to MI6 officer Will Cochrane to find out what's really going on.

Working outside official channels, Cochrane traces Saud's hidden ties to a dangerous web of overseas finance. The threats are escalating quickly, and in order to save the CIA officer, Cochrane must uncover why Saud is truly so important . . .
