A young prosecutor is confronted with his buried past as he tries to unravel a murder and stop a dangerous sociopath from ascending to the presidency.

Lawyer John Palmer is awoken by an early morning phone call summoning him to a crime scene unfolding in New York’s storied Tuxedo Park, involving his old summer flame, Susan Sterling.
